It was narrated by Anas, may Allah be pleased with him, that he said some women went to the Prophet, peace be upon him, and said, “O’ Messenger of Allah! The men go out and get to benefit from Jihaad in the way of Allah but there is no Jihaad for us to perform like that of those who fight in the way of Allah.” He said: (Your housework done in your home is like the act of those who fight in the way of Allah.)Al-Haafith Ibn al-Jawzee (rahimahullah)

This hadeeth that you quote is indeed very interesting. Can you please provide us with its chain and or ref?
the hadith is weak but the correct one is where the reward mentioned is for obedience to the husband and giving him his rights not cleaning lol
The hadeeth is reported by Abu Yaa'la in his Musnad, Bazzar and Tabaraani in his Mu'jam Al Awsaat. Shaikh Albani declared the hadeeth as daeef in his Silsalat al-Hadith ad-Da'ifa. Ibn Katheer also mentioned the hadeeth in his tafseer but didnt comment on the hadeeth as well as imam Saaboonee in his Mukhtasir of Ibn Katheer didnt comment on the hadeeth.
Maybe our brother Aboo Imraan can provide us with other scholars in their checking of this particular hadeeth as this is what i found when looking through the hadeeth.
